Students who violate the OIT Computer and Network Usage and Security Policy are at risk of having their internet disabled or being put in limbo. This can be caused by:
- Commiting Copyright Infringement
- Getting infected by a virus
- Using a wireless router to broadcast a personal wireless network
Internet connections can be restored once the student has complied with the rules and policies or when necessary action has been taken. To re-enable internet access, contact OIT Support, or see the the individual violation pages for more details.
