Many devices that connect to GTother do not have a web browser, and as such must be logged into the network manually each time the device is powered on using the LAWN Device Login system. We understand that this is not ideal, and as such have implemented a long-term device registration system to automatically log-in your device to GTother upon connection to the network.
We can register individual devices (such as Chromecasts, Apple TVs, Raspberry Pis, etc.) on GTother for a persistent four-month registration. During this time, your device will not need to be signed into the network manually. To do this, we need to verify the MAC address of the device for security reasons.
The quickest way to get your device registered is to complete our GTother Device Registration form, found here. You will be prompted to sign in to GT Login upon clicking the link. After signing in, please complete the form as directed. If you have an existing help request (also referred to as an "incident" or "ticket"), please enter the incident number if the appropriate field. If you aren't sure if you have an incident number, please leave the field blank. After submitting the form, a member of our staff will reply and let you know once your device has been registered. This process should take no longer than one business day. If you have any problems with the form or if you have any additional questions, please submit a help request (select Wireless Network: Device Registration as the classification) and we would be happy to assist further.
You may also bring devices into one of our offices to be registered. Please reference our office hours located on the right side of the page labeled "Walk-In Support". Feel free to bring your device into either office at any time during our office hours and we'll be happy to register it for you. Please ensure that you bring the device along with all necessary cables such as HDMI cables, power cables, and the appropriate remote/controller to allow for interaction with the device. You do not need to submit a help request in advance for this service.
